A LITTLE PLANET

Britain is one of the most densely populated countries in the world and continues to grow. One of the adverse consequences of this is excessive traffic and its attendant congestion and pollution. This image shows a section of the M25, the London Orbital, our busiest Motorway, where its crosses the Meridian. On average 200,00 vehicles use this Motorway every day. Britain's traffic continues to grow and some 200,000 additional vehicles appear on its roads each year. The image has been manipulated to distort the relative proportions of the traffic and road system to the actual size of our 'Little Planet'.
